Nella prima parte del film, più lenta, si ride, certo, ma a volte si ride amaro, osservando la grigia vita del supereroe costretto alla pensione anticipata, ma ancora voglioso di aiutare il prossimo. Tutta l'azione, e che azione, è concentrata nelle fasi finali, in cui il montaggio, frenetico, la fa da padrone. Strepitoso, stavolta bisogna ammetterlo, il doppiaggio italiano: spendiamo due parole in più per la geniale idea di affidare un personaggio minore (ma di fondamentale importanza nell'economia della storia, la stilista "di supertute" Edna) ad Amanda Lear che la "vive" in modo impeccabile: ogni minuto in cui l'attrice è in scena, è un minuto durante il quale Gli incredibili guadagna peso nella storia del cinema.
